Are your pieces handmade?
Yes — each Moon & Gold piece is thoughtfully curated and carefully assembled by hand in small batches.
We select high-quality chains, stones, and charms, then bring them together with intention to create pieces that feel meaningful, wearable, and unique.
Slight variations may occur, making each piece uniquely yours.
What materials do you use?
Many of our pieces are made using stainless steel and hypoallergenic materials, often finished with gold plating, alongside natural stones and carefully selected components.
Material details are always listed in each product description.
Will my jewellery tarnish?
Our stainless steel pieces are designed to be long-lasting and resistant to tarnishing. Gold-plated items should be handled with a little more care to preserve their finish over time.
We recommend removing jewellery before showering, swimming, or applying perfumes and lotions.
Are your pieces suitable for sensitive skin?
Many of our pieces are made with hypoallergenic materials, including stainless steel. However, if you have very sensitive skin, we recommend checking the materials listed on each product page before purchasing.
Shipping and delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are usually processed within 2 to 5 working days.
Once dispatched:
- Royal Mail Tracked 48: around 2 to 3 working days
- Royal Mail Tracked 24: around 1 working day
Please note these are estimated delivery times and may vary during busy periods.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes — if you select a tracked shipping option, you will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship to selected international destinations. Delivery times and customs processes vary depending on location.
Please note that any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns and refunds
Can I return my order?
Yes — you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order for non-personalised items.
Items must be unused and returned in their original condition.
Are there any items that cannot be returned?
For hygiene and custom reasons, we do not accept returns on:
- earrings
- personalised or custom-made pieces
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
We’re so sorry if this happens — please email us at hello@moonandgold.co.uk with your order number and photos, and we’ll make it right as quickly as possible.
Jewellery care
How should I care for my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery looking its best:
- avoid contact with water, perfumes, and lotions
- remove before showering or swimming
- store in a dry place
- gently clean with a soft cloth
Can I wear my jewellery every day?
Yes — especially stainless steel pieces, which are designed for durability. However, for longevity, we recommend removing jewellery during activities that may cause wear.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to help. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@moonandgold.co.uk
Once an order has been shipped, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
I entered the wrong address — what should I do?
Please contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can update the address. Unfortunately, we cannot make changes once the parcel has been shipped.
